About Us
Riverleaf is a husband-and-wife team run by Barry, affectionately known as Baz, and Sabrina. Together, we combine skilled
craftsmanship, practical project management and a very personal approach to each job.
Baz is first and foremost an excellent carpenter, although some might say a little too much of a perfectionist! For larger projects such as renovations, extensions and kitchens, we work with a
trusted team of contractors and suppliers covering areas such as kitchen supply, electrics and plumbing, coordinating everything to help your project run smoothly.
But we don’t only take on big projects. If you simply need a skilled carpenter to put up some shelves, hang a door, replace rotten decking or finally stop that front door from jamming, Baz is very happy to help with those jobs too.
Baz is trained in heritage building techniques, and both Baz and Sabrina have undertaken training in traditional limework and plaster, giving us an understanding of the materials and methods needed when working with older properties.
The name Riverleaf comes from our love of the outdoors.
Whenever we choose how to spend our free time, it usually seems to involve trees, water, or both!
Support
Sabrina is the project manager who keeps everything moving behind the scenes,
coordinating Baz, our trusted contractors and suppliers so that the right people and
materials are in the right place at the right time. Good planning helps projects run smoothly, minimises wasted time and keeps disruption to a minimum.
She is also particularly good at translating what clients need from a space into
practical ideas. Whether that means
creating a kitchen that is easier to use,
improving accessibility, or finding a better purpose for an awkward or underused area, Sabrina helps shape the brief and turn the “we know something needs to change” stage into a clear direction.
And when she isn’t organising people, materials or ideas, she can occasionally be found putting her spatial super-power to excellent use packing a skip with alarming efficiency.
